Forge Twitter
Our company Twitter was mainly used for updates, partnerships, and game compatibility announcements.
What’s this about game compatibility, you ask? One quirk of Forge is that games needed to be manually added to a list in order to be compatible, so we had a general rule that we’d add new major releases and any special requests (such as from our community).
Slightly annoying? Yes. But our scrappy marketing team took the glass-half-full approach and saw it as an opportunity where we could talk about specific titles on our social media and get some retweets or draw in fans of those games. So you’ll see some examples of that below, with a jokey tone to boot to land those sweet, sweet retweets!
